Early this week, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel held a meeting with collectors of all districts in capital Gandhinagar and asked them to resolve people’s pending problems.
The result of this meeting will be seen on the ground in the month of August.
Starting from the first week of August, ‘Lok samvad setu’ events will be held in phase-wise manner at taluka headquarters. Such meetings will be organized by Mamlatdar and Prant officer. Each of such meetings will be presided by district guardian minister, guardian secretary or Collector.
The basic concept behind this exercise is to resolve the pending problems of people by sending the top cadre of district administration to taluka level with focused approach.
The Chief Minister had in a meeting with collectors said, ‘Prashno no nikaal j nahi, ukel joiye’( don’t just clear the pending complaints but resolve them).
